Description
TASTING NOTES
It presents itself with an intense garnet color. On the nose, it is elegant, rich, and intense, with hints of red flowers, violets, jammy berries, humus, undergrowth, roots, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is warm, powerful, robust, and structured, with intense and elegant tannins.
This red wine prefers the company of red meats and aged cheeses.
The bond between the Cotarella Family and the world of wine dates back to the 1960s, when Antonio and Domenico Cotarella, viticulturists in Monterubiaglio, a hamlet of the municipality of Castel Viscardo in the province of Terni, established the first cellar for the production of their own wine. The brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella, both oenologists raised in a land of long winemaking traditions, driven by the passion of their father Domenico, then founded Falesco in 1979, transforming what was a small family business into a successful wine company to be passed down to future generations. It is here, between Umbria and Lazio, that wines of undeniable charm are born, characterized by a contemporary style and at the same time distinguished by particular longevity.
