PRODUCER
Château Haut-Brion was built in 1525 by Jean de Pontac on the outskirts of Pessac, not far from Bordeaux, with the precise purpose of wine production. The first growth in the history of Bordeaux wines, it was classified as Premier Cru Classé in 1855. In 1935, it was acquired by the Dillon family, who invested heavily in the renovation of vineyards and the winery. The wines produced by this ancient and famous maison are a triumph of refinement and complexity, known worldwide, capable of aging in the bottle for thirty years or more.
