Frescobaldi has become, in recent years, one of the most dynamic and appreciated wineries in Italy. A winery with over seven hundred years of history behind it, whose range of wines is confirmed, harvest after harvest, always at high quality levels and while moving with dizzying numbers (more than 5 million bottles produced), without ever being predictable, characterizing themselves, indeed, for being faithful ambassadors of the terroir from. The Brunello CastelGiocondo , whose name refers to the village of the same name which dominates the historic Frescobaldi stronghold in Montalcino, is a wine with an impeccable gustatory balance that stands out for tension and elegance .
With a beautiful garnet color, it evokes suggestions of dried rose, iron and morello cherry, animal and undergrowth notes, carob and mentholated accents. On the palate it is enveloping and offers a pleasant mineral touch, with still evolving tannins and a long finish of fruit and spices.
