Gruppo Montenegro has its own Gin, Edgar Sopper , a London Dry Premium produced in England by one of the oldest distilleries in the country and made from five botanicals: coriander, angelica root, Cubebe pepper, lemon peel and, of course, juniper. The bottle is beautiful, embellished with reliefs that run along its entire length, inspired by the large windows of Kew Gardens, the famous botanical garden in London, as well as one of the architectural symbols of the city. A further homage to London is the raven that appears on the label, among the legendary ravens that have lived in the Tower of London for centuries: Edgar Sopper. Legend has it that this crow, to attract the attention of the guardian of the Tower, pretended to be dead and, when the man picked it up, pecked his finger and then flew away, croaking, mockingly. Gin London Dry Edgar Sopper was inspired by him and his sagacity!
Colorless and crystalline, the nose shows a balanced and rich profile from which a fresh balsamic note emerges enriched with citrus and spicy hints. Dry tasting, just as per London Dry tradition, it can be both soft and very convincing in its pleasant aromatic persistence which is fully reminiscent of juniper, coriander and vegetal sensations.
