Color: Two and a half years of maturation in American white oak barrels give Don Julio1942 tequila a bright and intense shade of transparent amber with golden highlights.

Aroma: sweet vanilla aromas and hints of nuts, almonds and chocolate combined with exotic cinnamon and a light oak note. Subtle notes of caramel, toffee and caramelized cherries.

Taste : Aromas of toasted agave, vanilla and sun-ripened tropical fruits wrapped in spices. Also impressions of warm oak, pepper and cinnamon.

Final: a nice agave sweetness persists with notes of oak wood.
