The Ribolla Gialla from I Clivi is a light white and played with subtraction , which makes gustatory refinement and extreme drinkability its best weapons. Friuli Venezia Giulia can only be considered one of the regions of the heart for "bianco lovers", also by virtue of the transversality of stylistic interpretations, which make this land an invaluable heritage for passionate drinkers. Orange wines, thick or refined and subtle whites, the last category to which the wines of Clivi can undoubtedly be ascribed, a winery located in the Corno Di Rosazzo area which has now become an indispensable point of reference for those looking for territorial and deeply saline wines, free from heaviness and superstructures. Ribolla, Friulano, Malvasia, Verduzzo, and a little Merlot find their sublimation also thanks to a non-interventionist approach, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. A must dedicated to lovers of wines that blend stylistic precision and depth.
The white Ribolla Gialla is obtained from pure grapes of the vine of the same name, coming from 30-year-old vines that rest on soils rich in marl and exposed to the south. In the vineyard, as already mentioned, the dictates of organic farming are followed, excluding the use of any chemical or synthetic substance. In the cellar we proceed with equal zeal, with fermentations that occur spontaneously in steel containers and refinement of the liquid which takes place in the same container for 6-8 months in contact with the fine lees.
The Ribolla Gialla wine appears in the glass with a pale straw color. "High definition" nose, extremely clear and refreshing, characterized by hints such as golden apple, verbena, lemon peel and salty puffs. Even when sipped, the wine proves to be whispered and polite, perfectly balanced between savory contribution, freshness and body. Tiptoed.
