Description
TASTING NOTES
It presents itself with a concentrated and dark red color. The nose is immediately enveloped by touches of ripe fruit, which blend with progressively deeper and more incisive hints of spiciness. On the palate, there is immediately an excellent body, developed through a warm and fascinating sip. It ends with a slightly sweet, excellently persistent finish.
Ogrà prefers the company of red meats and aged cheeses. It pairs beautifully with a filet mignon Wellington.
The bond between the Cotarella family and the world of wine dates back to the 1960s when Antonio and Domenico Cotarella, winemakers in Monterubiaglio, a hamlet of Castel Viscardo in the province of Terni, established the first cellar for the production of their own wine. The brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella, both oenologists raised in a land of long wine-making traditions, driven by their father Domenico's passion, founded Falesco in 1979, transforming what was once a small family business into a successful winemaking enterprise to be passed down to future generations. It is here, on the border between Umbria and Lazio, that wines of undeniable charm are born, characterized by a contemporary style and at the same time distinguished by a particular longevity.
