Franciacorta Extra Brut Lantieri de Paratico is a great sparkling wine, the driest example, but without excesses, of the historic Lantieri de Paratico winery, the first to have promoted, in the 70s, the use of the classic method in Franciacorta.
This Franciacorta Extra Brut is produced from Chardonnay grapes and a small percentage of Pinot Noir, which gives the cuvée structure and aromatic complexity. After the soft pressing of the must, the fermentation takes place in steel vats and small oak barrels. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the wine becomes sparkling slowly and naturally, thanks to the prolonged contact with the lees.
Lantieri de Paratico Franciacorta Extra Brut shows a greenish straw color and a very fine perlage in the glass. Conquers the nose with a citrus and floral bouquet, fresh, savory and vibrant. The taste confirms the olfactory impressions of energy and vitality: the clean and taut attack gradually reveals snap and good dynamism, enriched by aromas of bread making (grilled bread) and fruit. It is savory and crunchy, fresh and very pleasant, well structured. It is a great sparkling wine, very pleasant both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to delicate fish or vegetable dishes.
