Description
TASTING NOTES
As a result of meticulous work, Château Margaux 2016 presents the aromatic signature of the greatest Margaux wines. The palate is filled with generous breadth, which does not compromise its finesse. The vibrant acidity of the fruit prolongs the development in the mouth with an endlessly long finish. Its structure and acidity make it a wine destined for formidable evolution.
It is perfect to pair with red meats (such as roasts or stews), aged cheeses, and game-based dishes.
Château Margaux has existed since at least the 12th century, but it was in the second half of the 1500s that it became known for wine production thanks to Pierre de Lestonnac, who, after acquiring the estate, decided to implement vine cultivation. With an annual production of around 150,000 bottles of Château Margaux, complemented by 200,000 bottles of Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux and approximately 35,000 bottles of Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux, every time there is the opportunity to uncork a bottle of Château Margaux, it is truly an exceptional and unforgettable event, which certainly does not happen frequently.
