Description
TASTING NOTES
The wine presents a deep ruby red color. On the nose, deep sensations of blackberry and blueberry are perceived, followed by elegant balsamic notes and black pepper. On the palate, the wine reveals itself as powerful and structured, yet at the same time light and agile.
This wine pairs perfectly with dishes based on noble meats and poultry, and it is particularly suitable in the company of long-aged cheeses.
Poggio al Tesoro is the Bolgheri estate of the Allegrini family, one of the most important names in Valpolicella. The project represents the desire to engage with another land of great red wines, a sort of new adventure to test themselves once again. It all started from an intuition of Walter Allegrini, always a lover of the Bolgheri territory and its wines. The estate consists of several estates, each with different pedoclimatic characteristics. The 70 hectares of the estate are located in a natural context of extraordinary beauty, kissed by warm and powerful sun, which reflected from the sea, gives an atmosphere of dazzling brightness.
