Prunotto Barolo Bussia DOCG - Marchesi Antinori 2016

VENDOR: Prunotto

€66,85

The Barolo Prunotto of the Marchesi Antinori was born in the homonymous estate, located in Alba, in Piedmont, on a soft plain surrounded by the vineyards of the Langhe and Roero. It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, left to macerate for 15 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Following the malolactic fermentation, the wine is placed in French oak barrels and, to a lesser extent, in second passage barriques for 24 months. After bottling, the wine ages for a further 12 months in the Prunotto cellars.

 PRODUCER
Marchesi Antinori is synonymous with the history and tradition of Italian wine, a true pioneer in the enhancement of the Sangiovese grape, which has now become an integral part of Italian wine culture, actively contributing to its development year after year. Following their initial estates in Tuscany and Umbria, others have followed, confirming the passion and foresight of this family, who deserve credit for bringing the Tuscan character of their wines onto the international wine scene. A major strength of the Antinori winery is its refusal to rest on its laurels despite its gained reputation, instead continuing to experiment even to this day.
