Ca' dei Frati's Amarone “Pietro dal Cero” is a red wine symbol of a territory, a tradition and a family. In fact, it was the Dal Cero generations, starting in 1939, who inherited the properties of the Ca' dei Frati winery. This Amarone is defined by intensity and majesty , as only the best versions of this Venetian icon can be. The long experience of several years and the constant comparison with Veronelli have led Ca' dei Frati to acquire great competence and ability in the world of wine. Great attention is paid to the care of the environment and to the enhancement of territorial expressiveness. Therefore, each vineyard is vinified separately in order to best express the various facets of the territory.

"Pietro dal Cero" is an Amarone obtained from the blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina grapes, coming from the 11 hectares of the Luxinum vineyard, in Pian di Castagnè. Here the soil is predominantly calcareous and defined by white flakes and clay. The bunches are subjected to drying in boxes for 4 months, then pressed and the must subjected to maceration in steel with prolonged contact with the skins. After having carried out alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the refinement phase begins, which consists of an initial period of 24 months in barrique , then another 12 months in steel and finally 24 months of rest in the bottle, to make it ready for marketing.

Ca' dei Frati Amarone “Pietro dal Cero” has an intense ruby ​​red colour. The nose shows an intense complexity , opening with notes of black cherry and rose that move towards deeper and tertiary tones of chocolate, sweet spices, tobacco and coffee. A balsamic finish of star anise and wild mint sculpts an olfactory monument of absolute charm. The taste confirms the sense of smell with great texture, made of strength and softness, wrapped in a stately elegance. Amarone that amazes and is difficult to forget!
