Cesari's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Negrar, Marano di Valpolicella, Sant'Ambrogio, Fumane and San Pietro in Cariano, in the historic area of Valpolicella.

It is mainly produced with Corvina Veronese grapes and with Rondinella and Rossignola grapes, harvested manually in crates and left to dry in the loft in order to increase the sugar concentration. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins for 20-30 days, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine undergoes a maturation period of 36 months, 12 of which in Slavonian oak barrels and a small part in French oak barriques and tonneaux.

In the glass it has an intense purple red color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with notes of cherry and plum jam, together with vanilla and toasted sensations. On the palate it is full and harmonious, balanced, warm and persistent.

Perfect to accompany game, grilled and stewed meat, this Amarone is ideal as a meditation wine.
