TASTING NOTES
In the glass, it has a garnet red color. The range of aromas on the nose mainly develops fruity notes of blackberry and blueberry, then giving way to a slight hint of pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dry, smooth, and well-balanced.
Truly excellent when paired with venison, roe deer, and game birds in general. Also worth trying with aged cheeses, it shines best with polenta with mushrooms and wild boar.
The La Viarte agricultural company was founded in 1973, in the small municipality of Prepotto, along the valley of the Judrio river, in the province of Udine. It extends over an area of about 41 hectares, of which only 26 are dedicated to wine production: the remaining 15 hectares are occupied by magnificent and historic woods, which the property considers fundamental for maintaining the ecosystem. La Viarte is indeed a reality that places respect at the roots of its production: for the land, for the wind, for the woods, and for the men who have walked among these rows for years, located in the hilly area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli.
