Description
TASTING NOTES
Very fine bubbles. Bright straw yellow. Notes of orange, bergamot, grapefruit, cedar, ginger, and almond pastry. The palate is fresh, soft, creamy, with a beautiful structure, with a delicate savory support and important acidic texture that immediately speaks of fruit. The finish is dominated by a significant citrus trace. PAIRINGS
Franciacorta is capable of enhancing many dishes, making it ideal for pairings such as first courses with fish, shellfish, and appetizers. It is also suitable for pairing with slightly aged cheeses and dishes prepared with white meats. PRODUCER
Cantina Cavalieri has a long and prestigious history. It has been producing wine in Matelica since the early 1900s. The estate extends into hilly areas, covering a total area of 8 hectares, almost entirely cultivated with Verdicchio, except for a small part with Pinot Noir and Merlot. The good altitudes and temperature variations between day and night allow for the slow ripening of grapes, with a rich and intense aromatic profile. In the vineyard, the protocol of organic farming is followed, with inter-row vegetation to promote environmental biodiversity. All choices are aimed at maximum respect for nature, to produce quality wines.
