Ferrari Trento DOC "Perlè" brut 2016

Ferrari's Perlé is a Classic Method Brut Millesimato sparkling wine which ages on the lees for 60 months. It represents one of the excellences of the Ferrari winery and more generally of Trentino sparkling wines. It is a pure Chardonnay with a fresh profile, typical of mountain regions, which expresses a rich complexity and aromatic intensity. A Spumante recognized for its refined floral notes, ripe fruit, noble evolutionary hints of bread crust and dried fruit. Trento Spumante Brut Perlé is a product of the Ferrari winery, starting from a careful selection of the best Chardonnay grapes from vineyards grown at an altitude between 300 and 700 metres, with south-east and south-west exposure. In these climatic conditions, Chardonnay matures slowly, maintaining great freshness even when fully ripe. The possibility of being able to count on a vast range of parcels with different characteristics always guarantees having a wide choice and being able to select quality grapes in every thousandth. After the manual harvest, we proceed to the traditional white vinification of the base wines. Once the refinement period is over, we move on to the creation of the cuvée and the subsequent period of rest on the lees, which lasts at least 60 months before proceeding with the dégorgement.
